Went there recently for lunch and had the most amazing 6-course Chinese meal. As vegetarians, we'd pre-booked, and the food was delicious and unusual, including Japanese hinona turnip with shiitake, potato and carrot ; an unusual porridge with gingko nuts; lotus root and more. Possibly the best Chinese meal I've ever had, and all for around £20 a head.
If you go the in evening, try to go to the intimate upstairs bar first.
Wakiya is a personal favourite of the internationally renowned Japanese chef, Nobu.
